Men: The Victims of Inaction

Have you ever looked back on history and wondered how people couldn't see what was coming? Like the calm before the storm, millions lived their ordinary lives only days before World Wars I and II. They saw the signs. They felt the tension. But many did nothing. Why? The Comfort Zone Trap Most of us are creatures of habit. We like our routines, our jobs, our homes. It's easy to get caught up in this comfort zone. Even when we get a sense that something is wrong, it is easier to overlook it than to rock the boat. Our brains are wired for survival, and sometimes, that means playing it safe. The Pressure to Conform Society expects men to be strong, silent, and in control. This can be overwhelming. Anytime a man demonstrates concern or doubt, most of the time, he is criticized or met with disbelief. His wife, family, or friends tell him, "It will be okay," dismissing his fears.
