Navigating the Storm: My Story of Loss and Hope. Finding My Voice It wasn't often easy sharing my story. I was mostly riddled with doubt, fear of judgment, the prospecting of reliving the feeling. It was something about the shift within me that began with my truth-telling. People confided in me, shared their struggles, and I'd realize the power of connection. Perhaps my story can be the one that would help out another person, perhaps bring some hope into someone else's personal storm. And that's when the idea for this blog came. This area is meant for all those who feel that they have lost the right direction, who feel lonely and not understood. This is a space that is meant for sharing experiences, giving support and letting others know that we are not alone in this fight. Navigating the Storm: My Story of Loss and Hope. Hey everybody, this is Ashwin. Life can be a complete rollercoaster, throwing sunshine your way at one moment and feeling like a never-ending storm the next. Today, I want to share a little titbit about growing up with a load on my shoulders, but most importantly, a tale of hope. Growing Up Different Things just felt a bit off from the very beginning. My parents would always be around, but it seemed as though they existed on a whole other planet. They loved each other, but they were also preoccupied with grown-up issues, and the space that left wasn't really enough for a kid with a whirling mind. Yeah, I have ADHD.
