The Shadow of Mortality: How Near-Death Experiences Shape Real Men

Do you think some individuals have a different view about things? They are neither careless nor fearful of risk. They grasp the beauty that can be held in the moment, and they hold their precious loved ones near. These happen to be the "real men" – individuals who have faced their mortality face to face.

You see, near-death experiences have an impact on the human psyche. They strip away the illusion of immortality and force us to confront the finite nature of our existence. For some, this can be a terrifying realization. But for others, it's a wake-up call to live life to the fullest.

The Masculine Mind and the Weight of Mortality

It is very dramatic to say that "real men" know death better, but it is so true. Generally, men, especially those who have faced a reasonable challenge either physically or emotionally, understand their mortality much better than others. It's not morbid pessimism; it is an acknowledgment of the real existence of life and death and making use of the time we have at our disposal.

Think about it:

* A Constant Undercurrent: Death is always lurking as an undercurrent in the lives of men. They may not constantly think about death, but death is always there in the background. Such an awareness is seen in various aspects, such as an increased sense of responsibility or a deep appreciation for the small pleasures of life.
* Strength in the name of Value: Real strength lies not in one's physical strength, but it can be that the strength to fight, face problems, and surmount the tough times. There are very few men who survive near-death experiences, but their respect for life goes really deep and the desire to protect themselves and their families.
* Concentrate on the present: The truth is that life is so precious and so short. That makes one think about the present. Spend all the time one can with their loved ones, and do all in their power to make every moment count.
"In Two Years, You'll Be Rich"
The difference in reaction to this statement perfectly captures the two different mindsets.
* The Weak Man: The weak man is greedy and materialistic, focusing only on the future reward. The promise of wealth has blinded him to the uncertainties of life.
* The Powerful Man: Now that he knows he is mortal, the powerful man understands that "two years" is no surety. He learns that life and death are always at stake and thus enjoys each living day. He may well succeed in achieving success but with a difference. For him, it's experiences, relationships, and well-being over all else in life.

The Super Security-Conscious

People who have seen the face of death become hyper-security conscious. The reason is simple: they know that banking on luck or hoping "it will be okay" is playing a very risky game. On the other hand, they would do everything to reduce risks and protect themselves as well as loved ones from hurt. They exercise regularly, follow a healthy diet, and meet the doctor as required.
They take care of their family members, and try building a sound supportive system.

They can establish an economical plan so that their family memtber is safe as well as in good condition in terms of safety and welfare. They may install home security systems, enroll in self-defense classes, and even avoid situations that may expose them to danger and compromise their safety.

Living with the Shadow of Mortality

With every passing moment, knowing that sooner or later death will seal everything's end, is a heavy cross to bear. It can precipitate anxiety and fear, at times overwhelming senses. However, it can drive one toward doing a more meaningful life.

Men, who have nearly crossed the limit to see their lifetime's end, Enjoy every moment in life: They appreciate the beauty present around and try to clutch each moment out of the prevailing one.
Love others should come without any hindrance. They don't mind at all expressing love towards their beloved.
Other important thing they wish to follow in order to give meaning to life is pursuing passion.

They make use of the experiences to assist other people to overcome the issues they are going through and enjoy fulfilling lives.

One part of the culture associated with this is that it is a universal human experience to be aware of one's mortality. At least for some men, however, this is much deeper and engraved into one's mind. It gives these men life with an angle that is quite different; hence, it helps them to better understand time, the value of human connections, and the need to live life purposefully.
Mortality can cast a long shadow, but it can also be a source of strength and motivation. It inspires us to live more fully, cherish our loved ones, and make a difference in the world.
