Don't be the side chick, be a main chick!

Image
So the whole thing with the drama going down and this is why you should never even, even for a single day ever be the second string. Imagine this: You're totally crushing on this person, and it seems like they're into you too. You're always texting, hanging out, and feeling all loved up. But then, boom! They start acting weird. They're not replying to your texts, canceling plans, and just generally being lame. Don't let them walk all over you! You deserve to have a person who actually wants to be with you and no one else. No playing games or keeping you waiting. Somebody who makes you feel awesome, not just a plan B. I know that letting go of someone you love is really hard. But, honestly, this is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Do not waste your time and energy on someone who doesn't even appreciate you. Some of these red flags you should watch out for The Hot and Cold Act: They're totally into you one minute, and completely out of sight the...

Yo, Let's Get Real About Bias

Image
So like everyone's got their little spin on things, you know? It's sort of like our brain's default setting. No harm in that, but can screw with our thinking if we don't watch ourselves . First step to good decisions:  admit you are biased. Don't try to play super-objective robot because let's face it we are all human. For example, if you love a certain band, you probably think that their new album is the best thing to ever be released, though it is kinda meh. That's your bias at work. Once you have acknowledged your bias, the next thing to do is to listen to the other side. Yeah, I know it sounds boring, but trust me, it is actually super helpful. Suppose you are totally against homework. Instead of complaining about homework, try listening to a person who likes homework. Maybe they will say something about how homework helps them learn or prepare for tests. You will be amazed at what you discover. Maybe you will come to a realization that there is a truth ...

Why Your Ex Wants You Back (But It Is Not Love)

Image
Ah well, now your ex is in. She is texting, calling you, trying to slide back into your life like she never actually left. But let's get real here; that is not because she is the one. It's because she is messed up and needs a backup plan. The real reason she is back. She probably went out there thinking she was gonna find some hot, rich guy who was gonna lavish her with love and cash. But let's face it, most guys are after just one thing: sex. And once they get that, they're gone. She probably got played a few times, totally ignored, or even worse, ghosted. Well, so she's finally coming around to realizing that you are the only guy who actually cares about her. You're the one who's got her back, the only one who listens to all her problems, and actually loves her for who she is. And now she totally wants that again. Don't Fall For It You have to remember, though, that she's not here because she loves you. She's here because she needs you. She...

Masculinity Defined: The Intersection of Hardiness and Sensitivity

Image
Masculinity Reconsidered: A Balancing Act Between Strength and Sensitivity The concept of masculinity these days receives a very narrow spectrum through stereotypes like being aggressive, dominating, and unemotional. There exist elements like strength, sensitivity, and compassion that would define the masculinity in man . The Myth of the Stoic Hero The classic picture of masculinity is a lonely figure, an emotionally cut-off but physically powerful man. The stereotypes are abundant but very much out of touch with reality. Real men are complex human beings who can feel and therefore experience all the different things that one can feel: happy, loving, angry, or grieving. A new definition of masculinity. Definition of a manly person should be one who values strength and sensitivity. A man at his best who is: Has physical power: The facilities relate to actual power and mental strength. He embraces emotional intelligence; that is, he understands his feelings and manages to keep himself, a...

To All the Corporations Out There, Listen Up

Image
You think you can just exploit us, use us for your own gain, and then discard us when we're no longer useful? Well, let me tell you something, corporations. You're wrong. We're not just disposable college students, we're human beings. And we deserve better. We deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. We deserve to be given the flexibility and understanding that we need to succeed. And we deserve to be compensated fairly for our work. But instead of treating us with respect and dignity, you choose to exploit us. You choose to use us for your own gain, without regard for our well-being or our needs. And when we fail to meet your expectations, you discard us like nothing more than a used tissue. Well, it's time for that to change. It's time for corporations to start treating college students with the respect and dignity that we deserve. It's time for corporations to start giving us the flexibility and understanding that we need to succeed. And it's t...

The Betrayal of a College Student: A Tale of Deception and Betrayal in the Corporate World

Image
As I walked out of the office building, my head hung low in shame and humiliation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal. I had been working as a graphic designer, video editor, product photographer, and product designer for what felt like an eternity, and yet, I was suddenly fired. The reason? I had failed to submit a project on time. A project that I had been juggling along with three other bosses who seemed to think it was a good idea to assign me multiple tasks at the same time. I thought back to the day I started at the company. I had been told that my schedule would be flexible, that I would have the freedom to manage my time as I saw fit. After all, I was a college student, juggling a full course load and a part-time job. I was told that the company would be understanding of my needs, that they would work with me to ensure that I could balance both my academic and professional responsibilities. But that was all just a lie. From the very beginning, I was expected to be...

The Tyranny of the Incompetent

Image
Ah, the sweet taste of liberation. Finally, I'm free from the shackles of those incompetent fools who couldn't handle my genius. I'm a graphic designer and video editor extraordinaire, and I know it. My work ethic is unmatched, my creativity is unparalleled, and my attention to detail is rivaled by none. But, alas, the company I worked for was populated by a bunch of monkeys who couldn't keep up with me. They would constantly ask for clarifications, require repeated instructions, and still manage to mess up my projects. It was like they were trying to sabotage me. And don't even get me started on clear communication. I was the one who always followed the rules, was always on time, and still got in trouble. It's because I'm a perfectionist, and those amateurs couldn't handle it. They wanted me to compromise my standards, to dumb down my work to meet their mediocre expectations. But I refused. I refused to sell out my art, my craft, my very soul. And n...

Time's Running: Take Control of Your Life

Image
Change is Coming, Are You? Think back six years. Who were you? Where were you? What did you want from life? Come on, remember. Are you satisfied with how far you have come? The Social Ladder: Up or Down We are part of the most radical change the world has ever known. The social ladder has never been more free-flowing. But this window of opportunity won't stay open much longer. Six Years: A Deadline In only six years, the possibility of going from the bottom to the top will be greatly reduced. The anarchy and vibrational energy that launched so many rags-to-riches stories into reality will start to dissipate. From Peasant to King I'm living proof it can be done. I went from government housing to becoming one of the most famous people in the world. But this wouldn't have been possible a few decades ago. A Limited Time Offer The internet era, the rise of cryptocurrencies, and other disruptive technologies have created a crazy good time for entrepreneurs. But this window won...

Walking through Hell

Image
The Power of Persistence: Making the Impossible Possible Do you ever have that feeling where you just want to throw in the towel? It's okay if you do. Everyone does at one time or another. The secret of success is not in giving up but pushing on and never giving up on your dreams. The Road to Mastery What is more, great mastery is anything but easy—it takes effort, time, and stubborn persistence. However, the reward for that amount of work pays off later when you start doing things which others consider pure fantasy. The Power of Habit One of the secrets to mastering something is in creating great habits. Once it becomes a habit, it's second nature. You don't have to think about it anymore. You just do it. The Importance of Mindset The most important thing is that you really have to get your mind into it. When your mind believes it's possible, then you can do it. The moment the self-doubt comes in, then you will definitely fail. Fail: The Nice Guy Essentially, failure ...

The storm is approaching: are you prepared?

Image
The world is crumbling. It's time to wake up. The world is falling apart, and we're all on this sinking ship together. While you're snug in bed, dreaming of a better day, the crew is battling the storm, desperately trying to keep us afloat. The Crew is Terrified The people in charge, the ones with the most influence, are terrified. They're up all night, discussing the crisis, trying to figure out how to fix it. They know more than you, and they know it's bad. Really, really bad. We are the enemy's target They are after us, the freedom fighters. They're only after equating silence in us. They're going to try to demoralize us, to make us give up. But we can't let them win. What Can You Do? 1. Get Strong : Physically, mentally, and financially. Build yourself up. 2. Build Your Community : Surround yourself with those who resonate with your values, providing mutual support and encouragement. 3. Work Hard : Every moment is precious. Utilize your time to t...

Strength as your shield is resistance to oppression.

Image
The Power of the Individual  Let's be real. The world can be a tough place. There are people who want to control us, to dictate our lives. But we have a choice. We can choose to be weak and submissive, or we can choose to be strong and resilient. The Weakness of Weakness: When we're weak, we're vulnerable. We're easier to manipulate, to control. We're more likely to give in to fear, to compromise our values. Think about it. Why do governments want us disarmed? Why do they want us isolated? Why do they want us poor? Because a weak population is easier to control. The Power of Strength When we're strong, we're harder to oppress. We're less likely to be intimidated by threats. We're more likely to stand up for what we believe in. Resilience goes beyond just physical strength; it includes mental toughness and independence, emotional resilience, and financial independence. How to Cultivate Strength * Construct Your Body : Universality in physical fitness ...

How Relations and Luck Can Make a Millionaire: Relational Power

Image
Ever wondered how some people seem to reach extraordinary success easily? Doubtless, talent, hard work, and strategic thinking are important ingredients in most success stories. However, often an overlooked factor is at play: the power of relationships.   The Accidental Billionaires Think about some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs: many of them didn't actually make billions off the back of genius or some kind of revolutionary business plan. Very often, they have been in the right place at the right time and met the right people. Take Mark Zuckerberg as an example. He didn't exactly start Facebook by himself. He had a partner who made an absolutely crucial $8,000 investment that kept the servers up and running. It was just such a simple act of support, so basic, that the act of returning this in some friendly way ended up shifting the course of their lives forever. The Power of Networking The fact of the matter is that everything in this world is based on relat...

The Hidden Dagger: Slander and the Matrix

Image
Ever felt you were under attack, yet could not see the enemy?   That is what slander has the capacity to do. It is a weapon that has, so many times, been out in the open for everyone to see and yet has silenced many who would speak truth to power. do you know the guy Julian Assange?  Julian Assange was an Australian editor, publisher, and activist who founded the whistleblower website WikiLeaks in 2006. He gained international attention in 2010 when WikiLeaks published a series of classified documents leaked by Chelsea Manning, a former United States Army intelligence analyst. These documents included footage of a U.S. airstrike in Baghdad, U.S. military logs from the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and U.S. diplomatic cables. Assange's actions have been both praised and criticized. Supporters view him as a champion of press freedom, arguing that his work has exposed government corruption and human rights abuses. Critics, however, contend that his actions have put lives at risk ...

The Illusion of Happiness: Chasing Power Instead

Image
Stop searching, start creating We've all heard it before: happiness is the ultimate goal. But what if that's actually one giant, fatty, massive, hairy, ugly LIE? What it true fulfillment lies elsewhere? Let's face it. The excitement of a new gadget, a fancy holiday, or a viral meme, lasts for a moment. It's like chasing the poppy in the desert—the closer one approaches, the further it retreats. Power to Change the World Now what is the key to true satisfaction? Not happiness but power. Power is to be able to mold your world, make a difference, and leave a mark. Think of the people who really changed the world: Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Alexander the Great, Muhammad Ali. Were they in pursuit of happiness or were they driven to try and create something extraordinary? The Power of Choice When you have choices, you have power. You can make your own decisions: where you want to live, what you want to do, who you want to be—you aren't at the mercy of circumstances. You'r...

The Power of Early Wins: Fueling Your Success

Image
(This blog is inspired through the people who have played a very good role in my life) Ever felt like giving up? We surely have. It's so effortless to let one's drive perish when nothing is as one would really wish them to be. Thing is: There's a secret, really, to staying on track, to keeping motivated: early wins. Why Early Wins Matter? Imagine that. Now, wouldn't you much be more inclined to continue playing if you had just performed a great personal goal while playing a new sport? Or let's say you started a new hobby and managed to do something you really, really liked. Wouldn't you be all the more motivated to continue? That's the power of early wins—it gives us the confidence and momentum necessary to continue. On the other hand, early failures can be a big setback. Not seeing results within a short period of time places a very real chance of starting to question oneself: "I am not good enough" or "This is not for me." The Secret t...

The Human Side of Jesus: Beyond the Divine.

Image
Introduction Jesus is always depicted as a divine personality, an entity perfect in all aspects. However, if we were to move beyond those miracles and preachings, what if one had to explore the human side of Jesus, the one which felt pain, was sad, and even doubted? A Divine Mission The life of Jesus was a mission. He thought that he had been sent by God to save humanity from sin and establish another kingdom. That was surely a very heavy burden to bear. Think of it. Knowing the fate of the universe rested on your shoulders. It sounds like heavy pressure and stress that most of us cannot even imagine. The burden of such a mission for Jesus must have weighed very heavily on his mental health. Opposition, rejection, and betrayal at every turn probably became the norm. He saw suffering—others' as well as his own. Handling such a heavy load must have been a stressful experience. Loneliness and Betrayal Jesus was a lonely man. He had to feel that, even within the best of times, his te...

Power in Numbers: Why You Need a Team

Image
Anything valuable in this world, it has always been groups of men who do. Anything impactful. Truth is, you can't do very much alone. You can't travel very far. You can't compete at the highest levels of anything. No one fears or respects the man with no backup. A single man is nearly worthless. The Lone Wolf Myth We have all heard of lone-genius stories, of people that changed the world. Think Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, or even, from fiction, Batman. These solitary figures fighting against all odds do capture our imagination. But let's be real. Even these titans had teams behind them. Steve Jobs had a team of engineers, designers, and marketers. Elon Musk has SpaceX and Tesla, filled with thousands of brilliant minds. And Batman? Well, he has Alfred, Robin, and the Justice League. Truth be told, success is rarely a solo act. It's building a strong team around you and leveraging the strengths of everyone involved that does it. The Power of Synergy When you put together ...

The World's Getting Angrier

Image
The world is an angry place. If you could measure the amount of pure rage in a person, and sum it all up and take the average and chart it on a graph, I can guarantee you it's going up. A steady, sure increase to higher highs. Anger, rage, they're all natural emotions, they're POWERFUL. But temperance is required to channel it, the world needs to FEEL the rage but USE it positively. And sadly our educational systems, our leadership, has completely FAILED to teach this skill. To change the way the world is headed. Every one of YOU need to change it. I need to change it. WE need to change it. You see, I want you to realize that everyone around me is safer because of me: they are wiser, stronger, and influenced positively. Nobody around me is running around, hurting other people. Why? Because of ME. All of YOU must become THAT GUY. The dedicated, hard-working, angry BUT tempered man. The one with his head on the ground making sure everyone around him is okay. The one taking th...

Brotherhood

Image
Have you ever had the feeling, even when everything in your life seems to be running right on track, that something is missing? I know that I have. It's a gnawing sense, one that tells you something isn't quite right—a sense of emptiness, indefinable somehow. But looking back,  I feel like what I was lacking was brotherhood. Humans are hardwired for connection, thriving best in communities and packs where we can support and challenge each other to be our best selves. Because it is an age of individualism, it's far too easy to get swept up in the 'lone wolf' way of thinking. We're made to believe that we must do all things alone, that asking for help is a sign of weakness. But nothing can be further from the truth. Actually, some of the highest achievers in the world have credited the support and encouragement of friends and colleagues for their success—in the field of sports or leadership. So how can you find your own sense of brotherhood? It does this by looki...
